DeBoy Construction & Remodeling is a full service design/build firm. We work with the client throughout the design and construction process to create a new home or a remodeled one that fits the way the client lives. By working on the project from the beginning, we can apply our knowledge and experience to the design, and ensure that you get the most of your final plans.

Once you have selected our firm to build or remodel your home, we will enter into a Design/Build Agreement which will ensure that you’ll be guided through the design, specifications and pricing process. Furthermore, we shall provide the assistance needed for the Architectural review necessary in so many community's today.

The retainer collected at the signing of the Design/Build Agreement will be credited towards the final payment of the Construction Contract. The Design/Build Agreement is a cooperative effort to protect both the builder and the client. It forms an understanding between both parties that allows the builder to schedule the construction to be completed within the homeowner’s pre-described time. The homeowner will also have a better opportunity to "lock-in" the pricing structure for the construction or renovation of their future home.

The objective of the design phase is for the client, the designer, and the engineer to bring together the basic building blocks of the project into a finalized set of plans. The plans shall meet both the aesthetic and budgetary goals, described in the Agreement. It is during this phase that specific material selections are made, sub-contractor input and comments are incorporated, and construction details are finalized. Throughout this phase the client is kept informed as to the status of the budget, with regard to the previously established price range. At the conclusion of the design phase, the client is presented with a Construction Contract, which includes a complete set of plans and specifications as well as a budget summary and proposed payment schedule.
